I was born in Lander and have lived most of my life in Wyoming. I graduated and got married in Green River, I have lived in Cheyenne, Casper, Wheatland and Big Piney/Marbleton.
So Wyoming will always be home.

1.Wyoming became the 44th state on July 10, 1890.

2. Wyoming is an Indian word meaning

 "Upon the great plain".

4. When Wyoming became a territory in 1869 it was the first place in the world to give women the right to vote, serve on juries, and run for office.

6. Wyoming's state motto is "Equal Rights".

Its nickname is the Equality State or the Cowboy State.

  9. Thanks for the invite! We've driven through Wyoming a thousand times, but we've never stopped to enjoy it. We'll have to do some sightseeing next time! I shared a recipe because we've only lived in our house for a couple months, and I don't have any pictures of the area yet (I need to change that!). I'm following you via Pinterest, and I'm going to add your link to my link party page.
